Surprising development about the investigations against the 170 people regarding the Efrin Operation

	NEWS DESK- The investigation conducted for the 170 politicians, intellectuals and artists have been withdrawn regarding the operation in Efrin.

	 

	The 170 politicians, intellectuals and artists who protested the operation in Efrin by saying 'It will bring bigger problems and destruction' wrote a letter to all of the parliamentarians back then. Names like Fikret Ünlü, Bahattin Yücel, Ertuğrul Günay, Ertuğrul Yalçınbayır and Ziya Halis, Eşref Erdem, Zülfü Livaneli, Gülriz Sururi, Genco Erkal, Halil Ergün, Hasan Cemal, Ayşe Hür, Rakel Dink, Lale Mansur, Suavi, Tarhan Erdem and Ufuk Uras signed the letter.

	 

	Ankara Chief Prosecutor Akif Ongun have launched an investigation for the people who signed the letter after 11 months passed the operation. With an istruction he gave to the law enforcement, he demanded that the people who signed the letter had to come in for a deposition as suspects.

	 

	With that instruction, some of  the people in the list have given their depositions. The questions asked during the inquiry about the letter they signed  was taken from an online article and did not take place in the original letter.

	 

	When this fact was widely heard of , the prosecutor Muhammed Akif Ongun who runs the investigation, have withdrawn his instructions to the law enforcement.
