AYM rejected demand for measures in İmralı

	İSTANBUL- The demand for measuresof the attorneys  regarding the ban on attorneys for PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan which has been going on since July 27, 2011 has been rejected by the constitutional court (AYM). The admissibility review of the application will take place in the coming days.

	 

	The lawyers of Asrın Law Office, who could not conduct a meeting with PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who was held in İmralı Island, since 27 July 2011, and applied to the Constitutional Court on 19 October 2018. However, the Constitutional Court have rejected the demand of the attorneys with the verdict they have passed.

	 

	 Court of First Instance of the Commission have passed their verdict examining the lawyer's application on December 13.

	 

	 With this justification, court decided that there was no place for the referral of the application to the Reportership  Division. The admissibility review of the application will be made in the coming days.
