Custody response from KESK: We will shout out peace no matter what the price is 2018-11-26 15:14:11 ANKARA/DİYARBAKIR- KESK Co-chair Mehmet Bozgeyik who reacted to the fact that tens of unionists and politicians being taken under custody said: " Our friends was taken under custody because they wanted peace. We will continue our struggle for peace no matter what." Confederation of Public Laborers' Unions (KESK) have made a press statement regarding the arrests including Union administrators and Trade Union of Public Employees in Health and Social Services (SES)  Co-chair Gönül Erden. Kesk and unions allied with kesk attended the press statement held in SES Headquarters.   KESK Co-chair Mehmet Bozgeyik who spoke in the press release, indicated that they are waking up everyday with the news of someone taken under custody. Bozgeyik, " The rights struggle of the labourers, the regional meeting held by our confederation, the meetings to be held  in Samsun, Adana, Diyarbakır, and İstanbul  and the women who got out on the street against violence must have panicked the government that they took immediate action."   Bozgeyik, speaking about the tens of people taken under custody in scope of this operation in İstanbul, Bursa,Urfa, Ankara, Diyarbakır and Mersin said: " According to the information we got from the attorneys, our friends will give their deposition to the police today and to the prosecutor's office tomorrow in Ankara Courthouse. We are warning the political power, you can not keep us from the struggle of labour, democracy and peace with custodies and arrests."
