Demirtaş : ' Countermove' and 'Finishing the job' definitions are crystal clear 2018-11-23 15:31:25   ANKARA- Selahattin Demirtaş indicating that it is clear there is political pressure about his sentence of 4 years and 8 months, said: "It is getting quite clear what is the operation the government means by saying 'countermove' and 'finishing the job'.   Former Co-chair of People's Democratic Party Selahattin Demirtaş have made a written statement about the ECHR verdict about himself. The statement shared by the HDP Press Bureau with the title ' AKP accelerates the pursue of 'finishing the job' with the ECHR verdict'  is as follows:    "It is getting quite clear what is the operation the government means by saying 'countermove' and 'finishing the job' regarding the verdict ECHR passed for my file.   The political pressures have started for the Court of Appeal to work on and sort out the file about me and Mr. Sırrı Süreyya Önder in which we recieved 4 years and 8 months of prison sentence, which has nothing to do with law.   They must understand that we are not helpless against any verdict that could pass regarding this file. Out best countermove is our people's will. Our people will hold them accountable in the elections and in any democratic plastform possible. And be assured, more and more violation verdicts will pass about what happened and what will happen to us."     We will stand strong. Victory will come for our pursue of law, justice, liberty and democracy struggle. We will eventually and definately win.  With love and respect.."
