EU Representative Mogherini: We hope Demirtaş be released

	ANKARA- The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Mogherini  criticising the academicians taken under custody, said ‘We are hoping Demirtaş be released’

	 

	Minister of Foregn Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn have made a common press statement. They expressed their concern about the detained journalists ,politicians and academicians and they say they hope Demirtaş will be released in accordance with the verdict of ECHR.

	EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn spoke after Mogherini and commented about the operation against Anadolu Culture and the academicians. Hahn said: “We want to express that the democratic efforts must be shown about the academicians and the human’s rights defenders.”
