Disciplinary punishment to Leyla Güven who's in a hunger strike 2018-11-21 13:52:56   DİYARBAKIR- The prison administration have punished DTK Co-Chair and HDP Parliamentarian Leyla Güven who is in a hunger strike to draw attention to the segregation of PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan wih "Deprivation of waged labour for a month".   Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Party Hakkari Parliamentarian Leyla Güven who started a hunger strike protesting the segregation of Öcalan in Diyarbakır Type E Prison is now on the 14th day of the hunger strike. The prison administration have started a disciplinary investigation about Güven.   Güven said: " As an elected parliamentarian, I have a responisibility to contribute to social peace that is given by our people, I am stating that the segregation of Mr. Öcalan must be ended, he should see his family and his lawyers. I willingly and knowingly started this hunger strike as an elected parliamentarian. I think this is a humane and ethical duty. I want to emphasize the fact that my action does not harm the administration or the public opinion in any way.
