
Call for embracing DÎSA-DER from Kurdish Authors

	VAN- Kurdish writers existing withing the structure of Language Culture and Arts Research Association (DÎSA-DER) that is established to work on Kurdish Language, said: "Language is the most fundamental value that establishes a community." and called for embracing the association.

	&nbsp;

	One of the many institutions that were closed down in the state of emergency that was declared after the coup attempt was Kurdish Language Research and Development Association (KURDÎ-DER). Upon the increasing oppression and assimilation policies against the Kurdish Language, DÎSA-DER was founded recently.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	The association that started the Kurdish Language workhops as a start , aims to &nbsp;to realize some very important works.

	&nbsp;

	Kurdish Writer Nezir Ocek who stated that eventhough the associations working on the language gets shut down, they always established new ones, said DÎSA-DER is very important due to that fact. Ocek said:" If a language is solely used in daily life and not in education, trade, culture and literature, it dies."

	&nbsp;

	Association administrator Evin Aydın said: " To embrace this association is to embrace your own language and culture. Language is the most fundamental value that establishes a community. If we embrace out language, we'll embrace ourselves and our futures" and requested the people of Van to support the association.
