We will demand the immediate release of Sise Bingöl

	DİYARBAKIR- Attorney Gülşen Özbek who stated that their request for her daughter to be her companion in the Mersin University Hospital Sise Bingöl is being treated as a prisoner, said they will apply for immediate release again.

	 

	Sise Bingöl, aged 85 who was taken under custody in Muş, Varto was put in Muş Type F Prison with 3 others with the charge of "Being a member of an illegal orgnization in April 2016. She was released due to the medical report given by Muş State Hospital, the duration of her imprisonment and her diseases on June 2016. But later in Aprik 2017, in a hearing he was charged with " Aiding an illegal organization knowingly and willingly" and she was sentenced to 4 years 2 months of jail time.

	 

	Sise Bingöl who still is arrested was taken to the hospital due to her health conditions last friday and brought to Mersin University Hospital.

	 

	HER REQUEST FOR A COMPANION WAS DENIED

	 

	Özbek who stated that Sise Bingöl has been in the hospital for 6 days, added that her daughters request to accompany her was rejected by the hospital saying that there is enough personel to take care of her. Some of her diseases wasn't even diagnosed when they prepared a report that there is no danger or risk for her to be imprisoned.

	 

	Özbek reminding the law that in the case of old age or disease the sentence can be called of, said: "The most probable thing to do now, is to cancel the sentence. We have applied many times. We will apply again with the new medical report for her release. Grandma Sise is 85 years old."
