Swiss committee have visited the district 2018-10-08 13:07:27   DİYARBAKIR- A committee consisting of Swiss academicians and politicians visited the political parties, women's organisations and union representatives in İstanbul, Mardin and Diyarbakır.   A committee consisting of scientists, academicians and politicians have come to Diyarbakır to make contacts with the locals. The committee consisting of Ueli Mader, a sociology professor, Union of public employees (VPOD) founder and Peace Council speaker Ruedi Tobler, Social Democrat Federal Party parliamentarian and External Affairs Commission speaker Fabian Molina, have met with Figen Yüksekdağ and followed the case of Peace Academicians.   THE COMMİTTEE HAVE MET WITH AHMET TURK   The committee moving on to Mardin at that point, have met with Kurdish politician Ahmet Turk. The committee following the case of Kızıltepe Co- Mayer Leyla Salman and İsmail Asi then moved on to Diyarbakır.    THE KURDİSH PROBLEM    The committee made contacts with Free Women's Movement (KJA) , Democratic Society Congress (DTK), Democratic Territories Party (DBP), People'S Democratic PArty (HDP) , Education and Science Workers Union (EĞİTİM-SEN) and Free Journalists Initiative representatives. The committee have made contacts about "Kurdish problem, the policies in the district, economical issues, violence against women, and oppression against the unions."   After the visits of institutions , the committee have visited historical Sur district.   The committee pointed out that they will share their report of their contacts with European public opinion.
