Partido Obrero supports 'I want to visit Ocalan' campaign 2025-07-16 10:07:06   NEWS CENTER - Argentine Workers' Party joined the "I want to visit Ocalan" campaign and sent a letter to the Ministry of Justice demanding a meeting.   Support for the campaign "I want to visit Ocalan" is increasing day by day. Within the scope of the campaign, many prominent figures from different countries have been notifying Turkey of their demand to meet with Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.   The international relations commission of the Argentine Workers' Party (Partido Obrero) also announced their participation in the campaign on their website. It also sent a letter to the Turkish Embassy and the Ministry of Justice in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, demanding a meeting with Abdullah Öcalan.   The content of the letter is as follows:   "Yilmaz Tunc, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Türkiye:   Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Argentina Suleyman Omur Budak:   From the Argentine Republic, together with personalities, individuals and organisations in our country and around the world, we would like to express our support for the international humanitarian initiative launched to visit Abdullah Ocalan and other political prisoners on the island of İmralı. We also join the demand to recognise the rights and freedoms of all political prisoners in Turkey and to respect democratic rights against the repression of anti-government strikes and demonstrations.
