	AMED - The trustee appointed as the Mayor of Amed Metropolitan Municipality started to demolish the Fabrika Neighborhood. The neighborhood is blockaded by the police and municipal police.

	&nbsp;

	Amed (Diyarbakır) Metropolitan Municipality, managed by a trustee, decided to expropriate and demolish 20 houses belonging to 18 beneficiaries in the Fabrika District in Bajarê Nû (Yenişehir) district in 2021. Even though the residents of the neighborhood started a legal fight, they did not get any results. In the morning, work machines were sent to the neighborhood accompanied by police and riot police. After the citizens were forcibly removed from the houses, the demolition began.
