
8 people were arrested in the 'bribery' operation in Büyükçekmece Municipality

	ISTANBUL- 8 of the 22 people detained in the operation against bribery allegations in Büyükçekmece Municipality were arrested.

	&nbsp;

	Within the scope of the operation carried out by the Büyükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on January 18, a total of 22 people, 7 of whom were municipal personnel, were detained on allegations of "qualified fraud, bribery and forgery of official documents".&nbsp;

	While those detained were transferred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station, 8 of the suspects were arrested. Among those arrested were Deputy Mayor Nuraydın Sak and Büyükçekmece Municipality Planning and Urbanization Director Abdurrehim Çakır.
