The rotating hunger strike action started by political prisoners in Turkey and Kurdistan prisons on November 27 within the scope of the "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, solution to the Kurdish issue" campaign continue. Prisoner Devrim Acar, who is held in Diyarbakır High Security Prison No. 2 and has been on hunger strike for 4 days, sent a message through his family.   'SILENCE MEANS DEATH'    Stating that they went on a hunger strike against the pressure on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan in Imralı and the Kurds, Acar stated that the isolation imposed in İmralı means denial of  the existence of the Kurds. Stating that they continue their actions to end the immoral and legal isolation and to ensure the conditions for physical freedom of Abdullah Öcalan, Acar said: “These policies are imposed not only in İmralı, but also to all democratic institutions and people, especially the Kurds and in prisons. That's why we say; This genocide is prohibited. It is an immoral and legal policy that silences people and prefers death in this silence. It must not be forgotten that silence means death.”   ‘LET'S RAISE THE VOICE OF FREEDOM'    Noting that all issues in Turkey, especially the Kurdish issue, must be solved by democratic means and methods, Acar called for their demands to be taken into consideration. Calling on the people as well as democratic, intellectual and political parties, Acar said: “We want the entire public to hear our voice. Isolation means silencing, remaining silent means death. Let's raise the voice of life and freedom against death and go to victory together.”
