	NEWS CENTER - At least 48 kolbers were murdered in Iran in 2023.

	 

	Rights violations against kolbers, whose deaths are often not even brought to the agenda, continue. Violations against people called "kolbers" who conduct border trade between Iran and the Federated Kurdistan Region continued in 2023.

	 

	According to the data of the Kurdistan Human Rights Association, at least 48 kolbers were massacred at the border between January 1 and November 30, 2023. In the same data, it stated that at least 239 kolbers were injured because of the gunfire during the year.
