Ecologist Gümüşel detained in Akbelen

	MUĞLA - Ecologist Deniz Gümüşel, who was among the team that prevented tree cutting in Akbelen Forest, was taken into custody.

	 

	The teams that came to the area for the ongoing tree cutting for the colliery in Akbelen Forest in Milas, Muğla were blocked by a group of ecologist and villagers in the morning. As a result of the attack in the region where the soldiers came, ecologists and villagers were forcibly removed from the area.

	 

	Ecologist Deniz Gümüşel, who was among this group, was detained after being removed from the forest area.

	 

	Gümüşel was taken to the Milas District Police Department.
