Şenyaşar: If justice is not provided, we will stage the sit-in before the ministry 2023-07-16 10:33:28   URFA -Calling all parties to the hearing to be held on July 18, Ferit Şenyaşar said that they will bring the actions of the Justice Watch before the Ministry of Justice, even though there is no decision that will ease their conscience.   Celal, Adil, Mehmet, Fadıl and Ferit Şenyaşar brothers, who were injured in the attack on the Şenyaşar family, where the bodyguards and relatives of AKP former MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız visited their workplace on June 14, 2018 in Pirsûs (Suruç) district of Riha(Urfa), has been taken to Suruç State Hospital. As a result of AKP's Yıldız's continued attacks at the hospital despite security and camera recordings, severely injured Celal and Adil Şenyaşar, and father Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar, who went to the hospital to visit their children, were murdered in front of his wife Emine Şenyaşar. During the attack that took place in front of the cameras, Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba, the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock of the time, the Governor of Urfa, the Suruç District Governor and the district police chief were also in the hospital garden. In the intervening 5 years, while the camera recordings were not added to the case file as "Missing", justice was not provided despite eyewitnesses.   'PERPETRATORS HAVE NOT BEEN ARRESTED FOR 5 YEARS'   Expressing that they have been fighting for justice with his mother for 5 years, Ferit Şenyaşar condemned the lack of justice for 5 years. Reminding that his brother was arrested and taken to prison with a wound, Şenyaşar said: "Those who murdered 3 people on a stretcher have not been arrested for 5 years. I continued my struggle for justice after being elected as a member of parliament. My mother continues her sit-in in front of the Urfa Courthouse. One of the perpetrators of the massacre, former AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, has not been arrested yet, even though his immunity has expired. This person has a suspicion of fleeing, so he will take the need of the judiciary as soon as possible. We want the perpetrators of the massacre to be arrested."   'IF JUSTICE IS NOT PROVIDED, WE WILL MOVE TO ANKARA'   Reminding that his brother's hearing will be held at the Malatya 3rd High Criminal Court on July 18, Şenyaşar said: "My brother has been detained for 5 years by the orders of superiors. He is still in prison, despite the fact that there was self-defense with both camera recordings and expert reports in the incident that took place at the workplace. He will be held on July 18. If a decision is made at the hearing that will ease the conscience, the mother will take the banner and go home. If justice is not provided, we will stage our sit-in in front of the Urfa Courthouse in Ankara."   'WE WILL MARCH TO THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE'   Providing information on how the struggle for justice will continue in Ankara, Şenyaşar said: "We will call out to all political party representatives and legal organizations with a press statement they will make in the Parliament in Ankara. On that day, everyone should put their political views aside and come together for justice. Afterwards, we will hold a mass march from the Parliament to the Ministry of Justice. Afterwards, our sit-in will continue in front of the Ministry of Justice. Our action will develop within a purely legal framework. We want justice to be served but otherwise we will continue our struggle with great determination in front of the Ministry of Justice. "   CALL FOR SOLIDARITY FOR THE TRIAL   Calling for solidarity for the trial to be held on July 18, Şenyaşar said: "Both political parties, law and non-governmental organizations and bar associations support our sit-in. We call on all political party representatives, MPs and legal organizations to come and see what kind of trial is made. Riha When I listen to the problems of the people, they say, 'First, fix the injustice against you, then we will express our demand.' The Minister of Justice says, 'Justice that comes late is not justice.' Everyone knows that the camera footage of a massacre that has taken place in front of the cameras for 5 years is in the archives of the police. Just our demand is justice."   MA / Mahmut Altıntaş
