
Number of detentions increased in Elkê

	ŞIRNAK - The number of detentions increased to 12 in house raids in Elkê early in the morning.

	&nbsp;

	As part of the investigation carried out by the Şırnak Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the police raided many houses in the Elkê (Beytüşşebap) district of Şirnex(Şırnak) early in the morning.

	In the raids, Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Elkê District Co-chair Zarife Borak, HDP District Administrator Emrah Yacan, Lokman Abi, Devrim Abi, Mehmet Cin, Nevzat Borak, Davut Borak, Nasreddin Aşan, Sait Acar, Yusuf Bor and Cemal Bor, together with an unknown person were detained.

	&nbsp;

	It was stated that the citizens whose reason for their detention could not be learned were taken to the Şırnak Police Department.
