	ANKARA – The 10 years and 10 months prison sentence given to Kadir Şeker was upheld by the Supreme Court.

	&nbsp;

	The 10 years and 10 months prison sentence given by the local court to Kadir Şeker, who caused Duran's death while trying to save Ayşe Dırla, who was battered by a man named Özgür Duran on the street in Konya, was upheld by the Supreme Court. The previous sentence of 12 years and 6 months for Şeker was quashed by the Supreme Court.
