
20 people detained in Hezex

	ŞIRNAK- 20 people, including local authority, were detained in house raids in two villages of Hezex.

	&nbsp;

	Homes were raided by the soldiers in Bana Zergûza and Xirabetuwa village of Hezex district of Şırnak. During the house raids, 20 people, including the village local authority of Zergûza and Xirabetuwa, were detained. Where the 20 villagers were taken, the reason for their detention could not be learned.

	BACKGROUND

	&nbsp;

	An armed attack was carried out on a vehicle on the road between Cizîr-Hezex, near the village of Zergûza Bana, in the Hezex (Idil) district of Şırnak, on April 23. Mehmet A., Abdullah E. (23) and Eşref E. (49) were seriously injured in the attack. One of the injured, Mehmet A., died in Cizre State Hospital, where he was taken.
