'The prisoners were forcibly stripped search' 2023-03-11 11:49:48   ŞIRNAK - Mehmet Şirin Acar, who is imprisoned in Erzincan Type T Prison, stated that they were subjected to strip search upon the instructions of the prison administration.   While the increasing violations of rights in prisons did not stop, Mehmet Şirin Acar, who was detained in Erzincan Type T Closed Prison, stated that they were attacked and they were forcibly stripped search on the orders of the prison administration. In an open meeting with his nephew, Mensur Acar, Acar told the practices they were exposed to and said that they were attacked by the guards when they objected.   'THEY MAKE PHYSICAL ATTACKS'   Stating that his uncle had been exiled to Erzincan Prison 2 months ago from Mardin Type E Closed Prison, Acar said: "A stripped search was imposed at the entrance of the prison and then they stripped us. All our friends were against it. When we protested, the guards attacked us and stripped our friends. It was later revealed that the prison administration had instructed them to do so. Even now, while taking us to the hospital or making phone calls, they are calling us in a way that violates human dignity. Their language is always aggressive, sometimes they make physical attacks. When we do air-conditioning or any activity, they open an investigation against us and issue phone calls and letters. They are also imposing on us to take the side of the independents.”   Acar demanded an end to the violation of human rights in prisons and called for sensitivity.
