One person detained due to the disappearance of Messe Hamvi 2023-03-04 16:15:43 MARAŞ - The person who was reported to have detained 15-year-old Syrian Messe Hamvi, who disappeared in the earthquake area, was detained in Bursa.   The fate of many Syrian children lost in the Maraş-centered earthquakes is unknown. He shared the photo and identity information of 15-year-old Messe Hamvi, one of the children who disappeared in the center of Maraş, from an account named "Princess Karvar Katrina" in Arabic, and left a note saying, "This girl came to us from Maraş. If anyone knows her family, contact us." Upon contacting the family, the owner of the account blocked the family. Thereupon, Hamvi's family filed a criminal complaint against the owner of the account.   It has been learned that after the events were broadcast by the Mesopotamia Agency (MA) with the news titled "Children's photos in virtual media: Are they sold for money", an investigation was initiated regarding the person in question. While his family continues to search for Messe Hamvi, the family, who went to the Iskenderun district of Hatay to inquire about the fate of their children, received a phone call from the Maraş Provincial Security Directorate.   The police reported that the person in question was identified and taken into custody in Bursa. While the name information of the person was not given to the family, it was noted that there were other complaints due to the sharing of the person.   Notifying the situation, the family requested legal support for them. Upon hearing what happened, the Maraş Branch of the Human Rights Association (İHD) took action. It was stated that the lawyers of the İHD will provide legal support to the family, and that attempts will be made to find the missing child.   MA / Ahmet Kanbal
