Destruction in İslahiye reflected in the cemetery 2023-02-18 16:04:42   GAZİANTEP- While the cemetery in İslahiye shows the extent of the destruction, hundreds of people were buried in two separate areas of the cemetery.   Search and rescue efforts in the İslahiye district of Gaziantep gave way to debris removal after February 15. Nearly 80 percent of their city has been destroyed, the people of Islahiye are trying to continue their lives in the tents and barracks they set up. Although the Governor of Bingöl, Kadir Ekinci, who was appointed as the Coordinator Governor of the city, announced the number of people who lost their lives as 1,368 and the number of injured as 1,500 in his statement on February 15, unofficial information is in line with the fact that 2 thousand people lost their lives only in the city center.   The cemetery, located in the Cevdetpaşa District, depicts the destruction experienced by the district. It is seen that hundreds of people were buried in 2 areas opened after the earthquake, and the bodies of the owners were buried in different parts of the cemetery.   MA / Berivan Kutlu
