Lawsuit against the police who murdered Eser: The police fired despite his prediction 2023-01-14 13:07:59   İSTANBUL- A lawsuit has been filed against police officer Hamdi Karaca for the murder of Erhan Eser on the charge of "possible intentional killing". In the indictment, it was stated that Karaca, who was on trial pending trial, fired the bullet even though he predicted that Eser could come to his vital area.   Kurdish youth Erhan Eser (23) was killed as a result of the fire opened by the police on the claim that he did not comply with the "stop" warning at the police application point established on March 28 at the junction connecting Hadımköy Yolu Street and E5 Güney Road in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi, Beylikdüzü. The police officer who murdered Eser, Hamdi Karaca, was detained on the day of the incident and was transferred to the Büyükçekmece Courthouse after his statement was taken at the Büyükçekmece District Police Department. Karaca, whose statement was taken here, was sent to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace with a request to be released on the condition of "judicial control".   The judgeship released the policeman Karaca, who murdered Eser, on the condition of judicial control, on the grounds that he was a "public official", "no suspicion of escape" and "he was injured in the incident". Following the completion of the investigation, a 2-page indictment was filed against Karaca, who murdered Eser, on October 21. In the indictment, it was stated that the Istanbul Regional Criminal Police Laboratory (KLP) prepared a report, but the report did not provide an opinion on the "shot" distance.   POLICE SHOT ESER ON PURPOSE   In the indictment, it was stated that the vehicle was in the hospital because Eser was brought to the hospital with the vehicle, and that the distance between the place where the policeman was shot Karaca and the place where the vehicle was could not be measured because of the crime scene investigation.   'SECURITY PRECAUTIONS'   The indictment was accepted by the Bakırköy 2nd High Criminal Court on October 31, 2022. The court, which prepared the tens, requested that Eser's 3 friends and police officers who were with him on the day of his murder were heard as witnesses, as well as writing a letter to the Administrative Affairs Directorate on January 30, when the first hearing will be held, at the Bakırköy Courthouse to take security "precautions" according to the scope of the file.   MA / Mehmet Aslan
