Muslim: Kurds have no choice but to defend themselves 2022-11-20 09:02:15   NEWS CENTER - PYD Co-Chair Salih Muslim said, "The Kurds have no choice but to defend themselves," regarding Turkey's attacks.   Democratic Union Party (PYD) Co-Chair Salih Muslim evaluated Turkey's attacks on Northern and Eastern Syria. Stating that Turkey has targeted a wide area from Shehba to Kandil in its latest attacks, Muslim said, “In these latest attacks, they have targeted everywhere from Shehba to Kandil. Fighter jets are shelling everywhere. It is not clear what the Turkish fascism will do. It attacks, it destroys. This is an indication of its desperation. The Istanbul bombing conspiracy did not work. The world knows how Soylu designed this conspiracy.”   'TURKEY WANTS TO FORCE KURDISTAN TO LEAVE ITS LANDS'   Pointing out that the Turkish state carried out these attacks to frighten the Kurds, Muslim continued: “Since their plans did not work, they are spreading terror like ISIS. Just as ISIS scared everyone, it is trying to scare the Kurdish people with these warplanes. Turkish fascism always shows all Kurds as enemies. It wants to force Kurdistan to leave its lands with terrorist attacks. We told that Turkish fascism is dying. It is not clear what it will do in its mad state. It can do anything.”   LEGITIMATE DEFENSE   “Kurds are aware of these hostile policies. The Kurds will not evacuate their cities and villages. People are at their homes. What is required of us is for all Kurds to defend themselves in four parts of Kurdistan. They should do whatever they can on the basis of legitimate defense as soon as the land invasion begins. We don't know. If the invasion starts, the Kurds will have no choice but to defend themselves.” Muslim addressed the world public opinion with the following statements: “The whole world should see the Turkish state brutally attack the Kurdish people and raise their voices. If Turkish fascism is allowed to do anything it wants, it is dangerous for everyone. As the Kurdistani forces, everyone must defend themselves in their own place. They must be in solidarity and act together.”
