Call for investigation of chemical weapons from Karayılan

	NEWS CENTER - Murat Karayılan made a call regarding the use of chemical weapons and said: "If you are clean, provide opportunities for independent committees".

	 

	HSM Headquarters Commander Murat Karayılan answered the questions of Fırat News Agency's (ANF) regarding Turkey's attacks on the Federated Kurdistan Region's Zap, Avaşîn and Metina. Emphasizing that there is no exaggeration or inaccuracy in their statements regarding the use of chemical weapons, Karayılan pointed to Defense Minister Hulusi Akar's who said "we only used pepper gas" and said, "The military use of pepper gas is forbidden according to the international agreements. It is considered to be a chemical weapon and it should not be used indoors."

	 

	CALL FOR INDEPENDENT COMMITTEES

	 

	Pointing to the statements made by Turkey regarding the use of chemical weapons, Karayılan said, "When the latest concrete documents were revealed, they refused on the same day without any research or investigation, saying, 'This is PKK propaganda; it is disinformation. Our army is clean; we do not have these weapons in our inventory' etc. I would like to repeat the call made by many valuable politicians and human rights figures on this issue: Since your army is clean, these allegations are false and there is no such thing, then the independent committees will prove it. Provide the opportunity for the independent committees to come to the scene, guarantee their security; these delegations will come and investigate and everything will be clear. If you are clean, then will have proven yourself."
