A call to take to the streets to protest the chemical attacks 2022-10-18 14:35:58   NEWS CENTER – KON-MED called on the public to protest against Turkey's use of chemical weapons in its attacks on the Federated Kurdistan Region.   The German Confederation of Kurdistani Societies (KON-MED) called on all Kurdish people to take to the streets to protest the chemical weapons attacks carried out by Turkey in the Federated Kurdistan Region.   KON-MED, which made a public announcement after the HPG announced that 17 members had lost their lives as a result of chemical weapons, stated that Turkey's chemical weapons attacks had become systematic.   In its statement, KON-MED said: “In these attacks, which target the genocide of the Kurdish People and the liquidation of the Kurdish Freedom Movement, all kinds of war crimes are committed in violation of international laws. The Turkish state has systematically made the use of chemical weapons.   'THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTIONS SHOULD NOT  PARTICIPATE IN THE CRIME'   Emphasizing that 17 HPG members lost their lives in the latest attacks, the following statements were made, the international institutions remained silent: “Although the Turkish state's violation of international laws and inhumane practices are within the scope of war crimes, relevant international institutions have turned a blind eye to this and continue to do so. The international institutions should not participate in the crime. This silence shows that they are partners in the massacres. We call out to all international institutions; they should stop supporting these racist and genocidal policies of the Turkish state against our people and their freedom forces. They should not be a party to this inhuman crime! On this basis, we call on all Kurds and friends of the Kurdish People to show their condemnations.”
