Assassination of Mamoste Shemal: Those who fight for freedom are targeted 2022-08-31 12:58:06 NEWS CENTER - Tevgera Azadî manager Mihemed Ebdullahi said about the murder of their manager Suheyl Xurşid Ezîz: "Turkey is carrying out an assassination with the help of some authorities. Politicians fighting for freedom are the target."   While Turkey's attacks on Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn regions with the cooperation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) on April 17 continue, new assassinations are carried out against Kurdish politicians. Zeki Çelebi, whose voice recordings revealed that he was threatened by the MIT on May 18, died as a result of an armed attack at his workplace. On August 28, Tevgera Azadî Executive Board member and writer Suheyl Xurşid Ezîz (Mamoste Şemal) lost his life as a result of an armed attack in front of his house in Kifri.   THE STATE HAS NO EFFORT TO ARREST THESE KILLERS   Tevgera Azadî director Mihemed Ebdullah shared the details of the assassination of its members. Noting that Eziz was killed by 5 bullets, Ebdullah said: "We have some information about when he was murdered. There are 2 people with uncovered faces reflected on the security cameras in the region. However, the public order has no effort to arrest these killers. Therefore, no one has been arrested yet."   Mihemed Ebdullahi   'KDP HAS A RELATIONSHIP WITH MIT'   Stating that due to the assassinations, the security of the Federated Kurdistan Region was no longer present, and that he had to apply to different states for the protection of the right to life of politicians and activists in the region, Ebdullah said: "The MIT and KDP have a strong relationship. First, many of our friends are watched, then searched and threatened with death if they do not work with them. The clearest example of this is Zeki Çelebi. His perpetrators are known. However, the security forces hides and does not disclose them. This is a sign that the security forces and intelligence have a connection with the MIT."   Stating that the regional government uses horror in the region for the sake of personal interests, Ebdullah said: "This is one of the places where Iran and Turkey's intelligence is the most transparent. These two states see politicians fighting in the region and opposing the invasion as obstacles to them. They prevent the development of the democratic struggle in the region. That's why terrorism is advancing and politicians fighting for freedom and democracy are being targeted."   'TURKEY'S TRIGGER IS THE REGIONAL GOVERNMENT'   Stating that the regional government is behind every attack against politicians, Ebdullah said: "The Turkish state wants to realize the dreams of the National Pact in Mosul. For this, Turkish state says in front of the whole public that it should invade Southern Kurdistan. Eziz is one of the fighters of the freedom struggle. Eziz was a man and had been fighting nonstop for about 30 years. Although Eziz was a talented historian and geographer in his struggle, he drew attention in his books on the existence of Kurdistan in Kirkuk and Mosul. That's why Eziz was targeted. Turkey carried out these assassinations with the help of some forces and officials in the Kurdistan Region. Turkey's trigger is the regional government itself."
