Our 16 friends are arrested because they don't give up to convey the truth. The state questioned their work. The reason why the indictment has not been prepared is the effort to produce a new crime because there is no reason for arresting them. We want those who protect the press profession and the free Kurdish press to support us there. The burden is not on the shoulders of our Kurdish colleagues but also on the shoulders of journalists working in Turkey. Even in prison, the imprisoned journalist cannot continue their profession so it is necessary to go to a solidarity night to show imprisoned journalists that they are not alone."
