SDF Spokesperson Hena: We will respond to every attack 2022-08-20 11:36:42   NEWS CENTER - Stating that Turkey has declared war on the region and SDF Spokesperson Aram Hena said: "We will immediately respond to any attack in kind." Continuing its preparations for war against Northern and Eastern Syria, Turkey continues its attacks with drones in the region. In Turkey's latest attacks on Til Temir on August 18, 4 children were killed and 11 children were injured in the bombardment of the school. Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Spokesperson Aram Hena made assessments to the Hawar News Agency (ANHA) about Turkey's increasing attacks. Stating that Syria has become an area of international conflict due to the concessions, Hena said that all local and international parties following the events are trying to take advantage of this situation in some way. THE FIGHT AGAINST ISIS   Referring to the effects of Turkey's attacks on the fight against ISIS, Hena said: "Turkey carries out daily operations and protects the detention centers of ISIS members and their families. We are in daily contact with all international parties. Since Russia is the guarantor power in the region, we provide field reports to it and the International Coalition. Through these reports, we interpret the data of events and document the consequences of negative actions that affect the common goals that we try to work with different international forces in the fight against terrorism. If the international community does not do what is necessary for the implementation of the ceasefire, it is not possible to talk about the elimination of terrorism and there is need for stronger actions on the ground." TURKEY DECLARED WAR ROJAVA REVOLUTION Expressing that Turkey declared war against the region after the Rojava Revolution, Hena said: "The struggle of the peoples of the region based on unity, common life and brotherhood resulted in a national Syrian project. Our people should know that the current wars and attacks are not different from the events that have happened to us in history. The one responsible for the 1915 Sefo massacres now threatens us. Those who committed massacres to suppress our historical identity are trying to attack us once again today." WE DO NOT DELAY OUT RIGHT OF RESPONSE TO ATTACKS Stating that the SDF is ready for the war, Hena said: "Until we proudly and persistently achieve success and ensure the rights of thousands of martyrs and the sacrifices of our martyrs, the SDF has no choice but to stand up for the resolute resistance of the Northern and Eastern Syrian components. Our forces are ready for any kind of attack. We will respond as well. Special units have assumed the responsibility of responding to the crimes of the enemy immediately. In this context, the invading Turkish army has suffered great damage in life and ammunition. We do not delay our right to respond to attacks. We will immediately respond to any attack in kind." UNITY AGAINST ATTACKS   The SDF spokesperson continued his words as follows: "I say once again, only with unity we can achieve success, take our rights and protect the gains we have made with many sacrifices. On behalf of the SDF fighters and military forces, we are committed to protecting our borders with our strong will and ensuring the safety of our people."
