Turkey uses chemical weapons in Heftanîn failing to advance on ground 2022-06-01 11:50:14   NEWS CENTER - It was stated that the Turkish Armed Forces that fail to advance in the Zinarê Kesta hill in Heftanîn for 56 days, used chemical weapons   Comprehensive attacks launched on the Federated Kurdistan Region on April 17, in cooperation with the AKP-KDP, continue. Faced with a situation contrary to what was expected in Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn, the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) cannot enter the Heftanîn region. In Heftanîn, where air and ground attacks have been going on for years, TAF was unable to get to the war tunnels especially in Girê Konferans.   TURKEY CAN NOT GAIN CONTROL   There are frequent clashes between the TAF and HPG members, who cannot control the region despite air and ground attacks. It has been reported that the TAF could not enter the Zinarê Kesta hill, where the war tunnel between Heftanîn and Metîna is located, for 56 days due to heavy clashes. It was stated that the TAF started using chemical weapons here and could not enter the hill despite intense efforts.   MILITARY BASES WERE EVACUATED   In Heftanîn where air strikes continue, violent clashes continue in the Xontur district. Unable to advance despite chemical weapons attacks, the TAF was stuck in the Girê Konferans area. It was stated that the TAF evacuated 3 military bases in the Girê Konferans region due to the violent clashes.   LOSSES OF SOLDIERS' LIVES SKY ROCKETING   Scores of soldiers lost their lives as a result of the hot conflicts. In the conflict in which the Ministry of Defense announced that 5 soldiers lost their lives, it was learned that the actual number of soldiers who died in the conflict was 20.  It was stated that the TAF, which retreated during the clashes, fired artillery from the outposts on the border line.   'THOSE WHO DIE, DIE IN VAIN'   It was learned that 3 soldiers lost their lives as a result of a missile hitting a position in Heftanîn 5 days ago, but the death of the soldiers were concealed. It was stated that many soldiers were injured in the clashes, but helicopters could not land in the region. It was noted that in many regions, the wounded  soldiers were taken by helicopters of the Special Forces in Silopi.
