Governor who witnessed the Şenyaşar Massacre, demoted back to Ankara! 2022-05-12 14:28:29   URFA - Governor of Urfa, Abdullah Erin, who has made many controversial decisions since the day he took office and is the addressee of the issues that are expected to be enlightened, was demoted back to Ankara. Erin will leave the city without clearing the fog of the Şenyaşar Massacre that took place before his eyes.   The governors of 20 provinces have changed with a decree signed by AKP Chair Tayyip Erdoğan. One of the governors removed from office was Abdullah Erin, who has been working in Urfa since June 21, 2017. While Erin was appointed as the Chief Civil Inspector, Sivas Governor Salih Ayhan was appointed as the Urfa Governor. Erin, who has been in office as the governor of Urfa for about 5 years, drew attention with his activities for the AKP, his devotion to Erdoğan, as well as the Şenyaşar Massacre and his activities in the cities of Northern and Eastern Syria.   AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, who visited the shopkeepers in Suruç district of Urfa 10 days before the general elections of June 24, 2018, was told that they were not going to vote for the AKP by the Şenyaşar family, so he carried out an armed attack with his bodyguards and relatives. In the attack of Yıldız's bodyguard and relatives, Celal, Ferit, Mehmet, Adil and Fadıl Şenyaşar brothers, the elder brother of AKP deputy Mehmet Şah Yıldız and 7 members of the family were injured.   When Yıldız's elder brother died in Suruç State Hospital where the injured were taken, Yıldız's relatives, who were in the hospital, attacked the Şenyaşar brothers, who were brought to the same hospital when they were supposed to be transferred to another hospital before the eyes of the the health personnel. Celal Şenyaşar's throat was slit with a broken serum bottle. Adil Şenyaşar, one of the other wounded brothers, was killed as a result of being shot in the head with a pistol in front of the healthcare workers in the hospital. Hearing that their children had been shot, father Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar and mother Emine Şenyaşar rushed to the hospital. Father Şenyaşar, who met Yıldız's relatives at the entrance of the emergency room of the hospital, was lynched in front of Emine Şenyaşar's eyes and was hit on the head with an oxygen cylinder. Mehmet Şenyaşar was shot and stabbed in the hospital where he was taken with minor injuries. He was sent to Antep together with his father, Hacı Esvet, and elder brother Ferit Şenyaşar. The ambulance carrying the father and son was also attacked.   MINISTER, GOVERNOR, DISTRICT GOVERNER AT THE HOSPITAL AT THE TIME OF THE ATTACK   During the lynch and deaths in the hospital, Urfa Governor Abdullah Erin, Suruç District Governor Tarık Açıkgöz and the then Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba were in the hospital garden. Despite the state officials and high-level security situation at the hospital, the hospital camera records were destroyed  in more than an hour, the blood of Esvet Şenyaşar, who was attacked in  the hospital, was painted and the evidence was cleared. Although almost 4 years have passed since the massacre, Erin did not make a public statement about the massacre during her term of office. Although Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar called on Governor Erin to "tell what they know" many times during the Justice Watch, which they started in front of the Urfa Courthouse since 9 March 2021, since justice was not provided, this call remained unanswered.   PERPETRATOR YILDIZ PRODUCED THE GOVERNOR WITNESS   While the confidentiality decision was preserved in the hospital investigation that has been carried out for about 4 years, 4 of the 10 people who were detained 4 years later were arrested on April 22. Celal Yıldız, the elder brother of AKP member İbrahim Halil Yıldız, who was arrested for "deliberate killing" within the scope of the file, stated that he was with the Governor of Urfa, Abdullah Erin during the massacre, and produced the governor as a witness to prove that he was "not guilty".   During his time as the Governor of Urfa, Erin's name came to the fore not only with the massacre, but also with him acting like an AKP member from time to time and his visits to Northern and Eastern Syria.   GOVERNOR SUPPORTED MOVING BARLEY FROM SERÊKANİYÊ   Regarding the opening of the Ceylanpınar Customs Gate on 28 August 2020, Urfa Governor Abdullah Erin said, “This is a great opportunity for Ceylanpınar. With the opening of the border gate, job opportunities will increase, trade will develop, and the economy will revive. With this investment, both the Turkish side of the border and the other side will have great gains.” Turkey, which previously stole olives from the city of Afrin in Northern and Eastern Syria and wheat from Girê Spî, transported 54 tons of barley from Serêkaniyê. There was no explanation about the marketing of the barley, which was transported with the protocol signed in confidence.   GOVERNOR VISITED HESEKÊ A NUMBER OF TIMES WHERE ISIS CARRIED OUT AN ATTACK RECENTLY   On October 9, 2019, Turkey launched a simultaneous attack on Girê Spî and Serêkaniyê with paramilitary forces called the SMO under the name of “Operation Peace Spring” and took control of the two cities after days of clashes. Abdullah Erin acted as the governor of the “Peace Spring Operation” region as the governor of Urfa. Erin made visits to the aforementioned region many times. The most striking visits were those that took place during the ISIS attack on the Sinaa Prison in Hesekê on January 20, 2022. While statements were made that the attacks were "planned in Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî under Turkish control" Urfa Governor Abdullah Erin went to the region 7 times in 2 months prior to the attack. Erin's frequent visits raised the question of whether he was part of the plan. Governor Erin was accompanied by the 7th Corps Commander and the city's military officials. In addition to his frequent visits to the cities of Northern and Eastern Syria, Governor Erin also held 3 separate meetings on the same dates.       MA / Emrullah Acar
