Şenyaşar family: Chief prosecutor turned a blind eye on us 2022-01-24 14:42:20   URFA - Continuing the Justice Watch without interruption, Şenyaşar family said the Chief Public Prosecutor Önder Yeniçeri turned a blind eye on their demands.   Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in a massacre carried out by the AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives on 14 June 2018 in the Suruç district of Urfa, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the same attack, are continuing the sit in in front of the Urfa Courthouse. The sit in, launched on March 9, is on its 320th day.  While Emine Şenyaşar continues the hunger strike at her home in Suruç due to the cold weather and her health issues, Ferit Şenyaşar arrived at the courthouse early and started the sit in for the day.   Tagging the Urfa Governorate and Turkish Bar Association (TTB) President Erinç Sağkan, and shared the following message from their Twitter account: "The eyes of Themis that holds the scales of justice is blidnfolded. Şanlıufa Chief Public Prosecutor Önder Yeniçeri turned a blind eye on our demands. Our sit-in for justice is on its 322nd day under rain."
