Heliport built in a village for Erdoğan never used 2021-12-08 10:40:22   DİYARBAKIR - A helipad was built by the municipality in front of Suna Kepolu Ataman's house in the village for President Tayyip Erdoğan's visit. Erdogan has never been to the village.   It was learned that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was going to make a special visit after the Batman program on November 6 for the opening of the Dr. Veysel Eroğlu Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) project. AKP Headquarters Women's Branch MKYK Member Suna Kepolu Ataman wanted to host Erdoğan and his wife Emine Erdoğan at her home in Silvan's Sora (Alakumlu) District. Ataman started working for the visit, which was accepted by the Erdogan couple, days before the visit.   DİYARBAKIR TRUSTEE MOBILIZED FOR THE VISIT   While it is claimed that Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality, which is under the management a trustee appointed by the Ministry of Interior, was informed within the scope of the preparations, the construction of a helipad in the neighborhood was started by the municipality before the visit. Allegedly, the expenditure for the construction of the runway was made from the public budget. However, Erdogan, who landed on the helipad specially made for this visit in Hasankeyf and was expected to go to Ataman's house from there, postponed the visit to Ataman's house due to his busy schedule.   THE HELIPAD HAS NEVER BEEN USED   When Erdoğan did not land on the helipad, which the gendarmerie guarded for days and took intense security measures, the helipad built by the trustee of Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality by spending thousands of TL was left to rot without being used even once.
