Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration starts contacts in the USA 2021-09-25 12:16:20 ANKARA - Within the framework of diplomatic talks initiated by the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria, a delegation met with senior officials from the White House.   Within the framework of the international diplomatic negotiations conducted by the Northern and Eastern Syria Democratic Autonomous Administration, a delegation went to the United States on the 23rd of the month. The delegation was welcomed by senior officials at the White House. The committee consists of Executive Council Chair of the Democratic Syrian Council Elham Ehmed, Co-Chair of the Gozarto (Jazeera) Region Executive Council Nazira Goriye and Dayro Zcuro (Deir ez-Zor) Co-Chair of the North-East Syria Democratic Autonomous Administration Civil Council el-Yousef.   White House officials confirmed to the delegation of the Syrian Democratic Council, which is in the American capital, Washington, that the commitment of the administration of President Joe Biden about its partnership with the Syrian Democratic Forces and the remain of its country’s forces in the region until the final elimination of the terrorist organization ISIS and its remnants and to support the stability of the region.   WE WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT SDF   During a meeting that took place on Friday at the White House, the delegation of the Syrian Democratic Council gathered with high representatives of the American administration in the White House, the American side expressed its country’s support for the Syrian Democratic Council and the military forces, SDF, in the areas of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, where SDC represents a great political alliance at the Syrian level. Many important issues related to the Syrian affair and ways to reach a political solution for the crisis that has been going on for more than a decade were also discussed.   In parallel, other meetings were held with prominent members of the US Congress, such as the Representative Schneider, a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives, who works in the Subcommittee on the Middle East, North Africa and Global Counter-Terrorism. The meetings were positive and expressive of Washington’s support for the “SDC” as well as the meetings members praised the efforts of “ SDF” for the fight against terrorism, stressing at the same time the continuation of their partnership.
