
'Turkish compassion' on Syrian territory

	NEWS CENTER - Turkey's presence in the lands of Jarablus, Azez, Bab and Afrin continues. The demography of the region is being changed through educational institutions. An expansionist policy is being followed under the name of the sanctity of the right to education.

	Every citizen in Turkey repeats that they do not want to invade Syrian territory. &nbsp;It has been 5 years since the Euphrates Shield Operation in 2016. Is there a responsible and peaceful administration that has severed its ties with Syrian territory? Or is it a paradigm that patronizes existing lands under the name of "civilizing the barbarians"? When we look at the education policy carried out in the region in recent days, it is seen that a "ill-omened" civilization is aimed.&nbsp;

	COMPASSION OF ANKARA!

	The english service of pro-government Anadolu Agency (AA) gives the 'good news' that Ankara opened 700 schools in the north of Syria. According to AA, 8 thousand 500 teachers were 'employed' and more than 200 thousand children are recieving education in these schools.The numbers may create a perception that Ankara is very compassionate with the children deprived of their education in Syria. But this is a phenomenon. As Karl Marx wrote, “If the apparent were the truth, there would be no need to do science.”

	'COLONIALISM' IN NORTH SYRIA

	&nbsp;

	It is known by everyone that the main purpose 'civilizing' the population in invaded lands is to alienate the people from their own culture, language, labour and identity. Opening a vocational school in Jarablus affiliated to Gaziantep University, a faculty of education in Afrin, a faculty of economics and administrative sciences in Bab, a faculty of Islamic sciences in Azez, teaching Turkish in departments is a means of colonizing the territory. &nbsp;Former Rector of Gaziantep University, Ali Gür, stated that the right to education is "sacred" and that they are bringing aid to the region in terms of humanity and morality. The ruling class decides on colonialism, after which it is handed over to the "intellectual" class. Louis Althusser's concept of "ideological apparatuses of the state" becomes meaningful here once again. Universities and the "academics" who have entered into obedience begin to legitimize the existing ideology.

	LIGHTHOUSE IN SERVICE

	It is known that religious foundations such as the Humanitarian Relief Foundation, Hayrat Foundation and Lighthouse Association are "subcontracting" the education policy in northern Syria. In particular, the activity of the Lighthouse, whose name is involved in unjust profiting, fraud and corruption, in Syria arouses controversy. The association absloves itself by helping its “Syrian brothers and sisters”. Yet it is still fundraising. For example, it calls for "donations" for the "Lighthouse Briquette House Project" it carries out in Idlib. Again, looking at the association's website, urgent aid is expected for the "migrant brothers" staying in the Syrian camps. It is known how these emergency aids and donations were 'siphoned' before. One of the religious foundations subcontracted in Syria is the Hayrat Foundation. It is known that this foundation is one of the organizations that gives morale to the Ensar Foundation, which has come to the fore with sexual assaults. It has been written many times recently that the education policy in Turkey has been delivered to the "compassionate embrace" of similar foundations by the Ministry of National Education.
