HDP: It is the government that points our party as a target

	ANKARA - HDP made a statement regarding the attack on the İzmir Provincial Organization building and said: "Our friend, Deniz Poyraz, was murdered in the attack on our İzmir district building. The instigator and abettor of this brutal attack is the AKP-MHP government and the Ministry of Interior which constantly targets our party and our members."

	 

	Peoples' Democratic Party made a written statement regarding the killing of party employee Deniz Poyraz. The statement is as follows: ""As a result of our party's being targeted by the ruling party, the Ministry of Interior for months, and some families being organized and directed in front of our provincial buildings for provocation, an armed attack was carried out on our İzmir Provincial Building at around 10:30 this morning. The gunman, who is stated to be 35-40 years old, stormed our provincial building while our party employee Deniz Poyraz was inside. The assailant, who opened fire and set the building on fire, was not intervened for a long time. Our party employee, our comrade Deniz Poyraz, was killed in the attack."

	 

	Upon the news of the attack, our people started to gather around our party building in the Konak district of İzmir.

	 

	'MINISTRY OF INTERIOR IS INSTRUCTING THE PROVOCATORS'

	 

	The message given after the rehearsal of the provocation during the Kobané Case hearing in Sincan Prison Campus is clear. Those who carried out this very dangerous act, the instigators of this attack is the government who point our party as a target. Those who instruct these provocators is the Ministry of Interior."
