Fire caused by Turkish military operation in Bitlis continues 2021-06-17 11:52:53   BITLIS – The fire that started during the military operation started in Bitlis on 12 June has been going on for 5 days and there is no intervention to the fire.   The fire, which started as a result of the bombing of the forest area of the Aşağıbalcılar (Hor) village of Bitlis, has been going on since June 12. On 12 June, a curfew was declared in 35 villages by the Bitlis Governorate. Although the ban ended on June 14, the fire caused as a result of the operation is spreading.   According to the information obtained from local sources, despite the growth of the fire, there hasn't been any effort to extinguish it and the villagers trying to extinguish the fire are stopped by the military personnel.
