Iraqi MPs takes action against TSK operation 2021-06-02 14:27:22   NEWS CENTER - Iraqi parliamentarians took action against the invasion attacks and nature destruction carried out by the Turkish state against South Kurdistan.   A group of Iraqi parliamentarians, led by Kurdish parliamentarians Serkewt Şemseddin, Galip Muhammed, Mawe Muhammed and Musenna Emin and including Shiite and Sunni Arab deputies, are protesting the invasion attacks and nature destruction carried out by the Turkish state against South Kurdistan. Some 51 MPs submitted a petition they signed to the Presidency of the Iraqi Parliament, demanding that the occupation and destruction of nature be stopped.   The petition said: "We have started a legal process against the occupation, plunder and destruction of our country carried out by the Turkish state. After the invasion attacks against the villages of Duhok, Hewler and Sulaymaniyah, the Turkish state brought some companies affiliated to it to disrupt the nature of Kurdistan.   These companies have started to destruct our nature, in particular they have started to cut down our forest’ trees. We demand the Iraqi parliament to form a commission on this issue. The commission we want to be established should be working for the solution, through foreign relations, of security and internal problems and the stabilization of the region. All circles will be informed about the Turkish state's destruction of our nature and efforts will be made to prevent this."
