Second hearing of Kobané Case starts today 2021-05-18 09:09:52 ANKARA - The second hearing of the Kobané Case starts today at the 23rd High Criminal Court, before the end of a 7 day period to object.   The second hearing of the Kobané Case where 108 people, 28 of whom are currently behind bars, stands trial including former Co-chairs of People's Democratic Party (HDP) starts today. The hearing will be held at the Sincan Prison Campus by Ankara 22nd High Criminal Court. The hearing will be followed by the experts from the European Union (EU) Turkey Delegation, as well as the diplomatic representatives of the EU member states.   HUNDREDS OF LAWYERS WILL FOLLOW THE HEARING   Lawyers who has been preparing for the hearing for a long time before the trial will follow the hearing. More than 200 lawyers coming to Ankara from different provinces and districts of Turkey, had their last meeting last night. Determining their defence strategy at the meeting, completed their preperations. Represantatives and Bar Heads of Urfa, Diyarbakır, Van, Mardin, Muş and İzmir will also follow the hearing.   HDP WILL BE AT THE COURT ROOM EN MASSE   Many HDP MPs, provincial and district administrators of the party and women's organizations will participate in the case. A bus will be provided by the HDP Headquarters to take people to court in front of Ankara Courthouse in Sıhhiye. Another bus is provided for the journalists who will follow the hearing which will be waiting for them in front of the HDP Headquarters.
