
20 detained in May Day Celebrations in Artvin

	ARTVİN – 20 people taking to streets in Artvin's Borçka and Hopa districts were detained in front of their houses.

	&nbsp;

	20 people were detained in Artvin, who wanted to celebrate the International Workers Solidarity Day on May 1. Dursun Ali Koyuncu, Head of the People's Houses Artvin Branch in Borcka district, and the district administrators of the People's Houses Borcka Branch were detained in front of their homes. In the Hopa district, members of the People's Houses, Turkish Workers Party, Student Collectives and Committee members who wanted to make a statement in the square were dragged from their buildings and detained.

	Those detained were taken to Hopa and Borçka District Security Directorate.
