It was stated that in two prisons, the guards have continuesly raiding the wards and battering the prisoners.   Hamdusena Ada, who is being held in Diyarbakır No 1 High-Security Prison, stated in a visit with his family members that many prisoners along with him were battered by guards. Ada's older sister Reşehat Ada said: “We visited my brother on April 5, but he could not reach the phone, could not raise his hand. There were bruises on his arms and hands. We asked questions about what was going on, but he did not provide any information. After the visit, I saw a mother cry when I left the prison. The mother I saw said; "20 guards attacked my son and some prisoners." Later, we told about the situation to our attorney and the attorney met with my brother and confirmed the incident. They took them to the hospital after the assault and the hospital gave them an assault report."   'UNACCEPTABLE'   Noting that they met with the prison prosecutor after learning about his brother's beating, Reşehat Ada said that the prosecutor told them that he was not aware of the situation. Stating that they did not accept the pressures and violence against the prisoners and that they will not let go of the torture inflicted on his brother, Ada said; "We do not understand what kind of justice this is. We will fight against this torture and if necessary, we will go to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). SI haven't been able to eat or sleep since I heard what happened to my brother. I see the bruises on his body every time I close my eyes."   HE HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL FOR 3 MONTHS   Stating that his brother has heart and kidney disease and should be taken to the hospital every month, Ada said: "They used to take them to the hospital but now they don't. He has not been taken to the hospital for about 3 months now, and the medicines he needs for his heart disease are not given to him."    Stating that his brother has been in prison for 10 years, Ada said: "For about 3 months, prisoners in Diyarbakır No 1 High-Security Prison have been experiencing serious pressure and insults. We do not accept these oppressions and insults. How can 20 guards attack a person, where are their rights and laws? I am calling out to the Kurdish people; They should oppose this pressure applied on the prisoners and should not accept this persecution."
