	The foothills of Van Castle witness the most magnificent Newroz of the recent years. The celebrations with the slogan "Let's resist with the Newroz fire, let's liberate ourselves" started with great enthusiasm. Thousands of people started to flock into the Newroz area from two points early in the morning. Tens of thousands who came in their colorful dresses, carrying HDP flags in their hands, protested the law suit filed against the HDP to be closed.

The hunger strike started by the political prisoners continues. The anti-democratic practices in prisons must end and the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan must be lifted.
