The statement reads, "We can not communicate with our clients Mr. Abdullah Öcalan, Mr. Ömer Hayri Konar, Mr. Hamili Yıldırım and Mr. Veysi Aktaş being held in İmralı Prison. We were last able to visit our client in August 7, 2019 and they were last in contact with the outside world via telephone call on April 27, 2020 due to the pandemic.   The statement continues, "Allegations were made about the life of Mr. Öcalan on a number of anonymous social media accounts on 14.03.2021. We seriously examine every claim made about our clients in Imralı, where we have not been allowed to meet for a long time, and take the necessary initiatives. We do not know who makes these claims from time to time but it is important that they are made. The main reason for this is the isolation in İmralı. The way to eliminate these concerns is through communication.   'END THE ISOLATION'   In the statement that emphasizes the need to create communication channels that will eliminate concerns about health and living conditions by ending the state of isolation that constitutes ill-treatment in Imrali in itself, it is said, "Once again we urge the political and administrative authorities to end the isolation and be responsible and make İmralı Prison a contrallable place and  apply legal visit and communication rights without discrimination."
