
Women detained last night with raids on their homes to be brought to court

	ISTANBUL - Women detained for participating in the 19th Feminist Night March in Taksim on 8 March are expected to be brought to the courthouse.

	&nbsp;

	12 women were detained in the operation that took place yesterday evening on the grounds that they participated in the 19th Feminist Night March in Taksim on March 8, International Women's Day in Istanbul. Women detained on the grounds of "insulting the President" are expected to be brought to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan today.

	The names of the 9 women detained are as follows: Merve Bektaş, Zeynep Çakır, İlayda Cantaş, Ebru Sert, Sedef Özer, Pelin Şahin, Nimet Tanrıkulu, İlknur Birol and Devrim Çapar.&nbsp;
