
Appeal for the release of Demirtaş rejected by court

	NEWS CENTER - The appeal for the release of HDP former Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş was rejected by the court of peace.

	&nbsp;

	Demirtaş's attorneys have applied for the release of Demirtaş citing the decision of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).

	&nbsp;

	Evaluating the appeal, Ankara 7th Court of Peace decided that there is no change in the legal status of Demirtaş and rejected the appeal, deciding continuation of the detention of Demirtaş.

	&nbsp;

	The court rejected the appeal on grounds that the translation of the ECtHR decision was not included in the appeal.

	&nbsp;
