Police raids the house Attorney Aytaç Ünsal stays 2020-11-20 13:30:46 İSTANBUL - The house where Attorney Aytaç Ünsal who was on a death fast for more than 200 days demanding fair trial was raided by the police.   The house where Attorney Aytaç Ünsal in Küçükarmutlu neighborhood in İstanbul, who was on a death fast for more than 200 days demanding fair trial was raided by the police early this morning. It was stated that the Cemevi in the neighborhood and a house used by the elderly was also raided along with more than 30 other houses.   The house where Aytaç was being treated was broken with a ram and stormed. It was learned that there were two people at the house, Ünsal and his companion and none of them were detained. According to the information obtained, 5 people were detained in the Cemevi and the number of detentions may increase.   THEY POINTED A GUN AT ÜNSAL   Aytaç Ünsal whom we called on the phone to get information defined the situation as 'bullying'. Aytaç who told that the door of the house was broken and the house was filled with Special Operations police, said: "Before I could understand what was going on, they pointed their long barreled guns at me . I asked them what they were doing, told them I was sick and being treated and that they can not come into the house like that. The police told 'We know you're sick. Please put on your mask. I asked for the warrant. They showed it to me. I saw that there were 30 adresses in the warrant that they thought suspects might me in. They searched the place a bit and left."   ITS NOT REFORM, IT'S STATE TERROR   Making a statement from its social media account, People's Law Office (HHB) said: "The judicial reform of fascism is more of a state terror. The house where Attorney Aytaç Ünsal was being treated was raided by the police. The house was stormed. Aytaç's health was at great risk. We will never submit to state terror."
