
Request of arrest for HDP Diyarbakır Co-Chairs

	DİYARBAKIR - HDP Diyarbakır Provincial Co- Chairs and Yenişehir District Co-Chairs, who were detained during a raid on the party buildings, were sent to court with a request for arrest.

	Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır Provincial Co-Chairs Hülya Alökmen Uyanık and Zeyyat Ceylan and Yenişehir District Co-Chairs Remziye Sızıcı and Kasım Kaya, who were detained during a police raid on the party buildings on October 22 as part of an investigation carried out by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, were referred to court with a request of arrest after being detained for 8 days.

	HDP Co-Chairs are accused of printing the poster of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, which was hung on a couple of walls in the Sur district of Diyarbakır. Co-Chairs are referred to Diyarbakır Criminal Court of Peace on duty after they gave their statements to the prosecutor.
