Journalists and writers call for support for HDP 2020-09-30 13:56:06   İSTANBUL - In a declaration titled 'Call for democracy and justice' journalists and writers published against the detentions of the politicians from HDP, "All opposition intellectuals and politicians who were unjustly imprisoned should be released immediately" was underlined.   The Kurdish Literature Association and Mesopotamia Writers Association reacted to the political genocide attacks targeting HDP politicians.   In a written statement, the associations said that the detention order was a political decision without any basis. "These detentions are not accepted by the public and international community, and it is a practice that completely violates international human rights standards."   The statement called on all writers and intellectuals: “Writer should be the torch and guide of the society they live in.
