Reports of tortured citizen doctored 2020-07-27 12:19:59   AĞRI - The medical reports given by the hospital to Cemal Aksoy, taken into custody during the raid which Murat Kaya was murdered in Tutak was doctored. According to the initial reports of both hospitals Aksoy was taken to was that there was life risk. The second reports stated that there was no risk.   Documents revealed how the murder of Murat Kaya (28), father of three children,  who was killed in a raid carried out by soldiers in the Tutak district of Ağrı was doctored. The documents also revealed that the torture  the villagers were subjected to were also doctored.   The medical report of Cemal Aksoy who was taken into custody injured showed that Aksoy was tortured. The first report given on December 6, 2019 indicated that Aksoy was at life risk due to blood loss and the injuries could not be treated with simple medical interventions. The same hospital, gave another medical report at the same time by another doctor which indicated that the patient did not have any life risk and that the injuries were treated by simple medical interventions, and that there were no risk for Aksoy to be sent to prison.   It was revealed that when Aksoy was taken to the gendermerie station after being given the report stating that he can be sent to prison, Aksoy lost fainted due to blodd loss and taken back to hospital.   After the statements taken by Cemal Aksoy at the Ağrı Provincial Gendarmerie Command, his lawyers complained that their client was battered. Aksoy who was arrested on charges of "attempting to destroy the unity and integrity of the state and kill a person due to his public duty", was taken to Ağrı State Hospital by the court on 9 December. Two more reports were prepared for Aksoy this time as well. First report clearly showed the damage in his body while the second report prepared by another doctor stated that there were no traces of battery and assault.    His attorney Vedat Tunca, stating that he witnessed his client being carried on a stretcher while losing a great deal of blood, said he wasn't allowed to see his client for 4 days without any court order. Stating that his client was tortured, Tunca said they will file a criminal complaint for malpractice and abuse of duty due to the contradictory medical reports.   MA / Dindar Karataş
