12 women detained in Pınar Gültekin demo released 2020-07-22 09:42:24 İZMİR- 12 women who were battered and detained during a march they wanted to carry out for the killing of Pınar Gültekin, a young woman murdered by a man in Muğla, were released. The women of İzmir who came together with the call of 'Women are Stronger Together', trying to make a press release for the murder of Pınar Gültekin were violently detained by the police in Alsancak district of İzmir. The women are released after their processing at the police station.    The women released made a short statement in front of Alsancak State Hospital. Deniz Uslu read the statement on behalf of the women. Stating that the women detained have been subjected to the battery, harrassment and the insults from the police, said they will file a criminal complaint against the police officers in question. Stating that they will never give up the fight, said they will be out there on the streets, together.
